I agree with Heart. I’m clearing $800 a week not working, almost 30% more as I made when working. I would like to keep this “raise” going, but then again I want a job to go back to when this is all over. And I hope it will be over soon, the government, both state and federal, cannot keep writing checks they cannot pay.
Domestic violence has tripled locally since this started, and the police and firemen are running all the time. Even without the violence, I imagine a lot of marriages and other living arrangments will end by the time this is over.
The world has always changed without our permission, and will continue to do so. Also, the world itself is in kind of a weird place. We’ve just been spanked and sent to our rooms. If we don’t start treating our planet better, chances are these times will later be known as “the good old days when things weren’t as FUBAR as they are now.”
