Well, he’s not short but he is terse.

How does he think this changes things?

My father once asked me why I didn’t become a basketball player. I told him he should have married someone his own height. Dad, 5’10". Mom, 4’11". Me, 5’6".

The twist is he’s actually going to start shrinking.

Don’t be too sure, Dean. It depends on genetics, sex, and Steenz.

You’re not short, Dean, you’re vertically challenged.

I was voted shortest kid in my HS graduating class. Grew four inches and put on 50 pounds of muscle over the next 4. Go figure.

Okay I like this turn, both bringing it back to heart and dean.. and in a way tha’ts relatable. Dean’s likely going to be a tad obnoxious.. but his insecurity is at least understandable.

Girls shouldn’t make fun of boys who are short. After all I was five six at the end of my freshman year, but when I went into the tenth grade, I was 5’11" tall, and six two by the beginning of my junior year.

Dean seems to be suffering from height insecurity.
