I had a broken leg twice in my life. Neither time had anything to do with coordination. Once I was twelve and the chain came off of my bike, driving my foot into the ground and the pedal caught my leg and broke both bones.
The second time, I was standing near where they were welding an 18” piece of pipe for a gas main and managed to break it loose with a trackhoe and hit me in the side of the leg. Again broke both bones.
