I know what its like to be poor. I would end up getting two or three jobs just to make ends meet and go to school. Since I had no family or friends, I had nobody to ask for help. Once I was to a point where I was caught up and had extra money, I wanted to volunteer at a homeless shelter. I got rejected by three homeless shelters and all I wanted to do was volunteer because I knew how these people felt.

Never mock the poor and homeless, it takes very little bad luck for most of us to be in the same place.
