The sitcom Modern Family addressed this. Joe, an infant, was the uncle of teenagers. Claire’s stepmother Gloria was younger than her. I liked that show.

It makes him his cousin’s nephew. And his new wife is now her ex-husband’s niece. Simple.
Nothing new under the sun. On the old soap operas, characters changed partners frequently and created these convoluted family trees.
I’d have to use a genealogy program like FamilySearch to figure that one out.
