How does having a clown provide security?

I was told one of the best security devices was a bucket/can of nails or marbles. Anytime a robber sees something like that and he/she needs to move it, they usually go to the next house. My freezer was robbed, it was in the garage, and that was something the police officer told me.

I live in a rural area outside Ottawa. The local OPP once told me that one of the easiest ways to deter robbers is to put “Premises Protected by Security Camera” stickers on the doors and windows which I did. My neighbor didn’t and has been robbed twice in the last ten years.

So the house is protected by Bigfoot?

You could give the robber the boot.

In my neighborhood, the thieves would steal the shoes !

This does not work on lady burglars…

Leave an open shotgun cleaning kit next to them.

I had a friend out in Arizona who had a sign on his gate the read:

Attention Thieves and Salesmen !

You don’t have to worry about the dog that’s barking.

I’d think it would work better with an extra large dog dish.
