Those who can’t do, watch.

Work fascinates me…I could watch it all day.

me, too. I love work… I can sit and watch it all day.

He fix his head instead

Like you and cooking shows, eh?

Oh, yes! Work fascinates me, I can sit and watch it for hours.

I’m not afraid of work. I could lie down beside it and go right to sleep.

This reminds me of one of Hubby’s numerous uncles. We went to visit him once, and there was a calendar on the wall that said “Remember Pearl Harbor!” (We were married in 1974.) Groceries were in bags on the counter. They didn’t get put away because you’d just have to get them out again. When we got back into the car I mentioned that Charles’s shoes were old fashioned, but looked brand new, which intrigued me. My father-in-law said, “Honey, he just don’t move around much.”

He appears to have lost his head over something.

Kind of like my wife watching the cooking shows. She makes good meals, but never anything she sees on the shows.

Better check his pulse.

My problem with watching other people work is that it makes me want to try it out too. Of course, 10 times out of 10 my attempt never turns out like theirs whether it be cooking, baking, crafts, repairs, drawing, etc.
