The good news is: Birth control is covered, but if a patient needs an oxygen tank, it’s not a medical necessity. I had a patient that was in that exact situation.

Yeah, that’s how it works here in ’Merica (cough, cough).

Must be an out of network doc.

It took me a minute, I live in Canada and it’s so sad and mind boggling that a Country as advanced as the USA still doesn’t have health care.

Must be a third world $h!thole without national health/single payer.

Show him a picture of your recycled bottles in the garage you are willing to cash in.. if, the surgery is successful.

The only additional thing I have to pay for healthcare aside from my monthly payment into the National Health Insurance ($83 for both my wife and myself) is the taxi or bus fare to the doctors’ offices or the hospital. Everything else is covered – including medications! Taxis cost between $1.50 and $3.00 depending on the distance, and the bus fare is 15¢ ! )

That must be his second opinion.

Except to remove his wallet.

That’s a good doctor that consults with an expert while the patient is still there…….

Get a second opinion from the bookie. He will know if debts always are paid and if not then how to collect.
