A 1600 watt hair dryer will blow most inverter fuses so fast the hood will fly up. 1600 watts is 160 amps at 12 volts which is about the same current draw as the starter. Most inverters won’t run a cordless tool battery charger.
Why in the world is she doing that in the car?! I do hair, makeup, and dressing at home before leaving the house. I wouldn’t dream of trying to do makeup in the car or fuss with my hair. I abhor distractions when I’m driving. Heck, it’s rare I even turn on the radio unless I’m checking on traffic conditions. Some Humans are weird.
