Please, please, please, Make sure the actual email address of the sender is the same as the one it says in the from address. If your email program does not show both, get another program that does.
Never click on an email that claims to be a survey that promises to give you some extravagant gift for answering a few simple questions.
Never call a number in the email to resolve a billing problem, if you have to call, use the number on the back of the credit card.
