Ellie named Ow Sir Pinkypaw III, wonder if there were two others before him? Could there be a story of feline tragedy hidden behind Ellie’s cheery demeanor?
The Biblical account Sam is referring to is: 1 Kings 3:16-28 with the end result in verse 27. I wished it had worked out for Sam. What’s tomorrow going to bring? Staying tuned! Thanks Bear for such a great comic strip.
Sam, Sam? Don’t over think this. Let ‘Em Fight. Winner keeps the cat. And sell tickets and make a few bucks. My money’s on the tall blonde chick with NO taste in Decor….,
I love your comic and the characters are very funny. Question? Will there be any African American characters appearing in your comic not that it matter, I so love this strip….

Poor Sam.
This is a ‘no-win’ scenario.

I wonder if Sam would be willing to build a ‘Kitty Door’ between the two units, so that ‘Ow’ wouldn’t have to choose.

Looks like the wisdom of Solomon is lost on them. But wouldn’t the fact neither of them want the cat hurt prove both of them are the cat’s true owner?

Did not go over at all well
A purring cat can cast a spell.
There’s a motor deep inside
From feline fancy few can hide.
Sedine and Ellie love the cat
Who shall win this tabby spat?

The difference was mainly in that Salomon, being a King, was rather more difficult to evict… ;p

Isn’t it supposed to be: Split the cat in two so they can “halve” it?

Technically, neither of them own the cat. The cat owns the both of them.

No matter which one of them gets the cat, you know the cat’ll just sneak off and visit the other from time to time.
