I take it you got that name from “Deutshland am Rhein”, which is either a German territory or refers to the nation anthem, I forget. Is Ellie supposed to be German too?
Just a little note: I addressed the issue already last month on FB (https://www.facebook.com/Sam.Sedine.comic/photos/a.200409840381073.1073741828.200402157048508/306594403095949/?type=3&theater) but just to play it safe, once again, my apologies to Dan Thompson and his strip ‘Harley’, who had a very similar joke last month (April 4). I don’t know when he wrote and drew his. I drew and finished mine somewhere in October last year, without showing it to the public. It’s still a bit weird for me. But neither of us knew about the other strip (at least I’m pretty sure of that) therefore I think we both were simply kissed by the same muse. I hope you like my version of this joke :>
I like that Ellie is unchanged from panel two to three, as it gives Sedine’s arms dropping to her sides more impact. The name is so silly that saying it aloud causes flowers to burst forth around Ellie. Well played!
When Ellie speaks the cat’s name, it’s with the Old English text and royal fanfare.“Hear ye! Hear ye! Pinky Paw III bon Cuteland am Rhein approaches…oops, sorry, SIR Pinky Paw III”Apparently knighted by the Queen?

We’ve crossed the line from “Silly” to “Syrupy”, methinks!

When the history of this strip is written, and the various stories have had names assigned to ‘em, will this one be referred to as ’Cat Fight’ …
… or ‘Custody Case’?

Technical Question …
Were the ‘Old English’ letters in Ellie’s word balloon from a ‘Letraset’ or similar type of font sheet?

Imagine calling that name overtime your pet was straying from home.

Cuteland on the Rhine? As opposed to Cuteland somewhere else in Greater Germany…

I think I like “Ow” better. It’s easier to say. I’m looking forward to Monday’s strip.

“Ow” and…that concoction…are at opposite ends of the silly pet names scale.
