Well Bea, looks like you got to have Roy play the lizard after all, apparently Sedine too. How are they gonna get out of this? Prove their not lizards by cutting off a limb and watch it not grow back?

Maybe it’s just me, but the perspective of the street in Panel #3 seems a little odd.

No Kidding… well, at least they said lizardfolks and not dragons, I don’t want to think the damage Sedine would cause if she were one of us.

Why do I get the feeling that it is actually one of those retirement facilities for the mentally incapable, the ones designed to look like towns so they don´t wander off – and Sam is just one of the people working there …

Face it Sam, you are the only sane one there.

Oops! Roy’s balloon pointer is closed off from its balloon in panel #1.

By the way, I like the shape of Sam’s “Speech Bubble” in panel #3, they don’t all need to adhere to a rigid shape or formula.

Related Note: Was doing some research on Alex Raymond’s “Flash Gordon” Sunday strips in the wake of his recent indirect mention here: Apparently, at some point, Raymond switched from directed word balloons to floating narrative captions, in the style of Harold Foster’s “Prince Valiant.”

    Hadn’t consciously realized that.

    Here’s an example …

    https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/e8/69/f6/e869f6b727457d8d48f921386a86e13d.jpg

    Two things of note …

1.) Raymond worked on large art boards, much larger than those used in adventure strips today.

2.) Think I’d also read that he employed models to act out the poses. Not sure how many artists today – other than Alex Ross – follow in that tradition.
