I said months ago that I was looking forward to Hank and Ellie meeting for the first time right before our eyes, and I meant it! Promising storyline so far!

On seperate inquiry, after looking at some of my old Yugioh cards I can’t help but ask if Ow is based on “Baby Tragon”. Maybe not precise copies, but they kind of seem alike in my eyes for some reason.

Again, attention to body language. ❤️

Know I’ve posted this before, but it bears repeating (… no pun intended!) that there’s a specific moment in Hayao Miyazaki’s ”Nausica” which mirrors Ow’s rueful pose of regret …

The fact that each panel is a different size actually briefly tricked my brain into thinking that there were more than four of ‘em today.

Hubbs: “Oh no, she’s hot!”

Ow: “Oh no, she’s steamed!”

Man up and roll the bones, Hubbs. Maybe you will roll the hard six.

Seems like guys sweat a lot in this comic strip…

Oh no, she called Ow “Kitty”! Not good. So funny seeing Ow and Hubbs mirroring their thoughts. Wonder why Hubbs thinks he is in trouble? He was terrified of Sedine. Maybe he is shy around women? Love the one leg up in the first panel indicating his body is ready for flight mode!
