Well actually I’d split it between the two of you, Sedine is a kid, and you are indeed ugly, annoying, and immature. (Should I be using past tense?)

He criticized Sedine for trying to make herself taller, I can only imagine Sam can atone by somehow making himself shorter. Why would he care though? According to him Sedine is just some brat, he finally woke up to how fortunate he was to have a woman care about him so much and cleaned his toilet with a smile on her face! XD

Love how the “Flashback Edging” accentuates the “Open” word balloons in Panel #3. ✨

When a woman gives you her love, it’s the greatest gift in the world. And if you can’t recognize that, Sam, then you most certainly are a doo-doo head.

Jean Shepherd used a similar setup for Ralphie in one of the follow-ups to “A Christmas Story” shown on TV as a PBS American Playhouse and the Disney Channel. Ralphie gets roped into a blind date by his mom and he goes to the movies thinking he will be stuck with Lena the Hyena. Lo and behold it is a cute blonde and as the movie begins, Ralphie makes his move, only to be shut down by the “blind date” and he suddenly comes to the realization that he is the blind date and undergoes a suitable transformation. I don’t know if this is available for viewing, but the title is “The Great American Fourth of July and other Disasters” and it does for the Fourth of July what A Christmas Story did for Christmas. There were several films made of Jean’s work which are below the radar and all have an equally twisted view of life. Other titles include the Phantom of the Open Hearth, Ollie Hopnoodle’s Haven of Bliss (first job and summer vacation) and It Runs in the Family set the summer following A Christmas Story and it gives each member of the family their own little trials and tribulations including the Bumpus’s.

I want to see Sedine walk all over Sam’s back.

We have never seen the bedroom, have we?

I want a Dutch style bed with an overhead rack Sedine can grab onto.

    Realign that spine.
