Well at least he liked her cooking, none of it went to waste. I wonder why the turkey didn’t put him to sleep on Thanksgiving, what does Hubbs find “Al” boring?

Wow look at all those plates, how much did Hubbs eat?! I can see Bea drew inspiration from Monkey D. Luffy when drawing Hubbs’ appetite! XD

Well Ellie tonight isn’t lost. He is sleepy, why not recommend he visit your bedroom? ;D

If Ellie left the room, changed clothes and removed the wig, and returned for a kiss under the mistletoe – would Hubbs believe he was only dreaming and not react in his usual manner?

… I have a theory that Hubbs knows Al is Ellie and has from the beginning. Everytime Al gets close to Hubbs …er… romantically (?) Hubbs changes the subject real quickly ( like yesterday’s strip). It’s almost like he’s at the dinner getting flustered. Being with her as Al is the only way he can let himself -mentally be comfortable around her. …

On Webtoons there are a lot of people getting anxious for a resolution here. I say this is comedy gold, mine it!

I can’t help but hear the voice of the late great Howard Cosell as the announcer. He is, after all, “telling it like it is”.

Ellie’s reactions are consistent with thinking that Hubbs knows she’s a girl.
