Usually new on ice with this kind of thinking comeback to reality after a “I’m flying” moment crash landing due to their skate blades who stopped to glide. It happens when a blade hits the ice pointe first and the other rear ended it becaue the owner been overconfident.

Good thing she has some padding, or else that collision with the wall could have hurt.

The problem with speed is that you do have to eventually stop. You can “coast” down slowly, enjoying it, lose balance which hurts like a dickens, or you can hit the wall again, one that isn’t padded! What will it be? Sedine would never do “slow”, and I don’t want her to skid on her tush across the ice, and she didn’t learn from the first wall, so maybe she will fly into Sam’s waiting arms:)
