    Not if you’re talking about the basketball team in Boston. That’s why I spelled it with an ‘S’. A celt (with a small ‘c’ and pronounced ‘selt’) is also a type of stone axe or adze. Knowing this, I composed this limerick in my college days:

    A celt (pronounced ‘s’) is an axe. A celt (pronounced ‘k’) makes attacks. You’ll insult a kelt If you call him a selt And he’ll give you some whacks with his axe.
