The operative word there is “say”, Eldo. “There’re no standards” would be grammatically correct, but most people would probably say “There’s no standards” (at least, it sounds more natural to me). Dialogue, even when written out, should conform to spoken custom, rather than rules for writing. I tend not to fault a writer for a mistake that can be reasonably ascribed to a character.
