Even if you’re Scrappy Lad #12 you’re still doing better than Winky or Ensign Kenny over in Brewster Rocket.

Bats doesn’t kill them off. Even the one who died isn’t dead anymore. He has a huge collection now, so he’s a bitter, angry loner who has surrounded himself with Robins and former Robins.

“Mr. Negato, scrap another Lad!”

Or Ask Mister Lizard: “We’re going to need another Timmy!”

In fact he tends to use them as bait.

Scrappy really needs to upgrade to a higher grade hero… but would a higher grade hero have Scrappy Lad…. the dilemma of being the expendable comic relief…

How would he know he’s 12th? I’m sure Cap isn’t keeping track.
