Offside TCM has great flicks. I can’t access the link on my office computer (content restriction), but I’ll try to remember to go back to it this weekend at home. But I think it’s a no-brainer for me: Football is number one and baseball is a distant number two.

I think I like the scream pass better than those wildcat plays that are creaping into ever team’s playbooks.

Congratulations to the (5-0) Denver Broncos for their great start.

Their preseason outlook was not promising having finished last season with the second worst defense in the AFC.

A young coach, a new quarterback and a tough schedule [that includes the (5-0) Giants and Colts] seemed to offer Broncos’ fans little to cheer about.

The experts predicted that the Broncos would finish the 2009 season at 4-12.

Chargers’ fans, like me, were almost guaranteed that this was the year that the (2-2) Bolts would bring home the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Well, kids, this is why you shouldn’t bet.
