Coaching is just for the ones who can no longer play (if they ever could) baseball.

This would certainly fix the problem of getting hit by a line drive foul! Or is that why he IS working from home?

I’m sure I saw that message as a ad on a sidebar… right next to the one about a local mom’s easy anti-aging tip, and the ad for the 5 best foods to lose 10 pounds (also discovered by a local mom).

I believe the principal function of a third base coach is to advise runners as to whether they should hold up at 2nd or 3rd or keep going. However, the notion of that coach is a bit absurd – it would be like, say, having a coach run alongside a wide receiver and tell them when to reach for the ball or if a defender is coming.
