Definitely NOT underinflated… perhaps even inflated with something other than air
Happened to me once flipping pancakes…
Something like that actually happened in the old Hubert H Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis in 1984. Dave Kingman’s pop fly went so high it went through the opening in the center of the fabric ceiling (186 feet up) and never came back down.
Kingman got a grounds rule double on it.
