How does that parachute stay open with only two lines holding it? And the bar should fall off when the pole strikes it. And the mat looks more like a knife edge. Ouch. I wouldn’t spread my legs in that case.
When I was in high school the pole vault and high jump pits were a pile of sawdust, the track was made of cinders and the hurdles could knock down a rhino. Today, foam rubber pits, rubberized tracks and aluminium hurdles that will fall over in a light wind. They have taken all the fun out of Track and Field.
