To draw a pitcher like that I’m guessing Ben doesn’t watch much baseball.
I don’t think they usually use secret signs for walking. It’s generally obvious to the batter when he’s being intentionally walked. I believe they even changed the rules so they don’t actually pitch the ball anymore.
