An old-fashioned phone? One that’s properly nailed to the wall, can’t follow you around and doesn’t annoy you with calls in public places? That’s my kind of phone!
Well, I know it dates me…. but I didn’t even notice the phone. As BB said, it has push buttons… and I know people who still have wall phones.
I don’t have a corded phone any more, it’s true…..I’m spoiled by cordless…. but I have a great deal on my landline and use it a lot, cos my cell minutes are limited.
My handset has push buttons…. and I’m so used to it, I can walk around, cook, or just sit outside, with it tucked between my ear and my shoulder…
I don’t use it much, but Skype on a computer feels like being tethered to a corded phone again.
Even with a built-in mic and speakers, you still can’t really walk away, or drag the computer around.
My grandmother had her old wall rotary phone up with the 20 foot line until we rented out grandma’s house. My aunt took it and hung it in her basement right inside the patio door.

Anyway…. I answered a few people at the end of yesterday’s forum, including Krenligh and Night-Gaunt, if anybody cares to look.<———
If not…. carry on…. :)

My father working for TPC, we had one of the earliest push button phones — with no star and pound keys on it.

Chelle Archer sort of reminds me of Spade and Archer.
