Jane, are you hitting on your coach? Aren’t two women in your life enough trouble?

You don’t analyze an onion by peeling it – before long you’re crying and your hands smell.

Jane is really such a doofus. I just love her.

And when you peel a banana?

If you peel all the layers away, you do not reveal some substantial essence—you dispose of the onion. The onion is nothing but layers. As David Hume and the Buddha said, there is no solid core to the mind.

She’s never had a doughnut? Boy is she missing out!

Doesn’t her therapist have a somewhat odd phobia?

For a life coach, she doesn’t know much about life.
