It’s not a good sign when you have to stop the comic strip and give multiple paragraphs of exposition and backstory to explain what is happening.
This is like when a comicbook has glaring plot holes and when the readers complain the publisher says that everything is explained on the writer’s Twitter feed. I should not have to read a tweet to explain what’s going on in a comicbook.
