Aircraft registration numbers in the U.S. begin with “N” and typically are followed by three or four numerals and one or two letters. Examples: N 343WP or N 1234D. You may also have five numerals, as in N 12345.

Is FUMP a muffled THUMP because they’re landing on sand?

As my grandmother said when she was giving me flight lessons, “Any landing you can walk away from is a good one.”

How does it reference Stephen King’s novel series which includes The Dark Tower? I read the whole series but cannot recall specifics about it.
