GM failed when it was UAW run … now they have a greater stake, but renewable cash flow. I may not buy a GM, but my money will go to them … . taxes. Where’s Harley screaming Fair Tax when I need him?
HQ, I am glad you came along to comment, I thought RO was speaking of Harley-Davidson who has already taken a government bail out. http://knowledge.wharton.upenn.edu/article.cfm?articleid=446
Now you are not seriously arguing that the unions have run the car companies? If you are you should be screaming for the replacement of the auto companies boards and management b/c they are clearly incredibly weak and can’t lead at all.
a 31 year old is in charge of Obama’s “auto task force agency” or what ever it’s called…
I had my eye on a Malibu, but I’ll be crazy to buy anything now controlled by the clown in chief…so good luck GM, you should have gone chapter 11 before allowing socialism to creep into the board of directors…
Pretty funny, but let’s quit criticizing the government. We’re in a tricky situation with our economy. Both sides of the aisle supported the stimulus idea (remember, banks were first as initiated by Bush). Le’t just hope that the right decisions are being made and that GM will survive.

HQ,
I don’t understand the 31 yo Yale buddy, but to your rumor.
http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2009/05/news-flash-car-dealers-are-republicans.html
Most car dealerships, closing or not, are owned by people who have donated to the republican party.
It is rarely as simple as it looks.
