Sunny, why would you decide to go vegan during a family barbecue?
There never a convenient time to take a stand.
Dad had to leave to run around looking for os,ething you can eat!
Hush! This is Dad, calling long distance.
I think being a vegan/vegetarian is cruel. Vegetables are alive when you eat them. I would hate to eat anything thats still alive when I eat it. That’s cruel. That’s why I like my food nice and dead.
I’m all for supporting my kids’ decisions, but when they decide to make them on a whim like that, they get to deal with the inconvenience, not me. If Sunny were my kid, she’d be eating whatever’s available. Come to think of it, grilled onions and mushrooms on a bun with potato salad, roasted asparagus and corn on the cob sounds pretty good. Cool, my barbecues are already pretty vegan-friendly!

At least she’s not throwing buckets of red paint around and calling everyone a murderer!!!!

My niece turned vegan about that age too. Made my sister nuts.

Same way I was raised. I went to a boarding school, so it really was “eat it or else”.

Sounds like this calls for Hobson’s Choice.
