why do we have a box full of Clarences wedding photos?
You won't believe this, joe....
they've never created and official wedding album!
They still can't agree on which photos to use!
wow...back them the family was so segregated!
If family of the groom gathered separately from family of the bride, it is not really that unreasonable unless you think all families have an equal mixture of all races and ethnicities..Where are the asiatics and hispanics?
it’s true that the family members would tend to congregate together with family members they already know, so it’s probably quite natural. weddings typically bring people together who never met each other before, and, except maybe for Christmas, may never see each other again.the only thing is, it’ll look contrived, because the distinct skin coloration will be more pronounced. the differences will stand out more.but we can take some pride in the fact that interracial relationships and marriages are a lot more common today than they were when Clarence got married. I predict in a couple of generations, very few people will be able to make any claims to being “pure blood”, and nobody else will even care.
