Olivet will decide when to give up her toys.

Just, please, don’t give them away when she’s not there. Been there.

Just wait until Olivet is asleep or distracted better.

My 15-month-old grandson “Oliver’s” boon companion, Elmo, looked like new but had gotten some kind of gross substance in its plush. I went to the local Toys “R” Us and bought what looked to me exactly like the original. While Oliver was napping I spirited the dirty Elmo away. When Oliver awoke I handed him the new Elmo. He immediately whipped it onto its front and made a close inspection of the tag on back.

Poor Olive, in life, things will be taken from you right in front of your face. Somethings you will loose close-up and personal, not while your sleeping or distracted. Teach kids life early, it saves the rest of us from having to take cover when the go shooting up workplaces or malls.

This baby has siblings, is she not being taught to share??! Or will some poor slob have to do it when she’s 23.

It’s like trying to disarm a bomb. One false move with her toys, and she’s gonna blow!

My 6 yr old is the same way. He still has toys from when he was a toddler because of that.

HonoBear: Right. The toys of childhood are often the valuable collectibles of the adult – particularly applies to comic books and trading cards.
