I submit that this is a flashback to how the dad found his son at Shop-N-Bulk. The drawn faces look quite similar. I’m not sure how his hair went white so quickly though. He did cite using a lot of aliases. Perhaps he changed his hair color to avoid notice?

Come on guys, it’s OK if you took Monday off — just go back and read yesterday’s today.There you will find a comment from the Artist that explains the hair color — a brain-dead colorist, who will forthwith be beaten about the head and shoulders with a rubber chicken.
