There was a minor revolt at my junior high when we had an assembly featuring a sweet little old lady (the pre-Internet meaning of LOL) showing us her collection of parasols. (I felt so sorry for the LOL, but did she really expect she could keep us entertained by singing “Every little movement has a meaning of its own”?)
Hmm. I never noticed that dialog of JumpStart adults is in all caps. However, kids’ speech balloons use upper and lower case in the usual fashion. So in internet terms., adults are always shouting.

I’m not sure the “crowd” is going to like this any better.

When principals try to get a kid to do an assembly, you know they’re desperate to get the students to be interested in attending.

Does anybody notice the principal is wearing a gold bracelet?
