That jaguar must have been real hungry, to eat its own bodyweight!

It’s so early in the morning….I actually had to read it 3 times. Thought it said “Take a selfie with Jagger”

I wonder if anybody’s figured out how many people have died because they were doing something dangerous just to take a selfie.

I know what happened to Jerry was tragic, but aren’t you being a “nervous Nellie” now, Frank?

While I would never be so dumb as to intentionally take a selfie in a dangerous position….

IF I happen to die in such an awesome way as “Killed by Jaguars,” and it somehow got captured by a camera, you can BET I would have it displayed proudly at my funeral.

I should change my Will to reflect that.

Next up… all phone camera apps have to be updated to include

Caution: taking selfies can cause death.

locking yourself in your house is also bad for you, not as bad as Darwin Award winners who take pictures with vicious predators, but you can get a bunch of problems not leaving your house ever.

Philadelphia is the birthplace of the “selfie”. Robert Cornelius took the first in 1839! He had to sit still for about 10 minutes, exposure times being what they were. But—-there is a historic marker at 8th and Market (yes, right outside of the Burger King), marking the event at the site of Cornelius’ studio.

I’m feeling better about the jaguar. Not a deliberate man-killer, just one who had a free lunch thrown in his face.
