What could be scarier than asking for a report you didn’t do?

The teacher looks like a sister to Miss Delores, Joe and Marcy’s former apartment neighbor.

Hey! This was me in school.

We hung an effigy from one of the large sycamores at the local cemetery. We had the misfortune of being caught by one the local police officers, who promptly confiscated it. The local police dept was across the street form the Jr High school we went to. The morning after Halloween we saw it hanging from the flagpole at the police dept.

Just tell the teacher, trick or treat!

Now THAT’S scary!!

There were few things worse as a schoolkid then getting to class and realizing that you didn’t do the homework.

I still think the teacher saying ‘Pop Quiz’ is worse.

Homework? On Halloween!?! Now that’s scary!

It’s fun to see what really scares a kid!

Will the teacher believe the report?

Pretty rude to assign homework for Halloween. Of course, this year it was on Sunday, so they still had Friday and/or Saturday to do it.

That kid’s lack of affect in panels 2 through 6 earns him NO sympathy.
