I am in retirement year, yet I still get this empty sensation in my stomach when hear the word “homework”.

Growing up on a farm with chore responsibilities, it wasn’t easy working in the time to also do school homework.

I was one of those kids who came home, had a snack, sat down and did my homework. Just to get it out of the way so I could enjoy the evening.

And I, as an adult, voluntarily went back to school to inflict homework on myself!

is there a difference between housework and homework?

Maybe you shouldn’t jump the gun.

I did mine one class before it was due, sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not.

Why the teachers don’t have this slacker sit up front by now is beyond me

At my house growing up it was walk in the door directly after school and work on your homework until it was done only stopping for dinner in upper grades if there was that much. Had to be completed before any thoughts of play or TV.
