Nancy is quite a happy woman; Ted, unawares, not so much!

Assuming that the professor is the one wearing the top hat, Edgar appears remarkably loose-limbed. There has to be a reason they keep him around.

Sounds like a pretty kinky novel.

Starring Carl Betz, Imogene Coca, Fred Gwynne, … and featuring Jim Backus as Ted. This fall!

Another of those words that appears to exist only in a contrary form. “Beknownst” doesn’t show up in a quick check of online dictionaries, although I’m too lazy to lug out the OED and the magnifying glass right now.

Given his stature, Edgar should be able to ‘visit’ Nancy by only having to get halfway up the ladder…

I’m not convinced that Edgar would have needed that ladder.

Edgar seems to be paradoxically long-legged and “legless” (drunk) at the same time.

This is my favorite hit or miss cartoon series. BTW This one missed.

Sounds like a tall tale to me!
