Evil man, however cat is too smat to believe his lies.

That’s OK. The cat is ignoring him.

One should never lie to a cat.

“I have a drawer full of fish, just waiting for you.

“Okay, okay. They’re dried fish.

“No, no, I meant to say they’re kitty treats.

“Yeah, see, I can’t keep /fresh/ seafood in my desk.

“Other cats will start prowling, and that’s just /asking/ for trouble!”

Cat doesn’t care. Cat lies at the man.

If cats were influenced by what we tell them, this might be a problem.

He’s patiently waiting for him to come clean…

I lie to cats all the time. I flatter them. They expect it.
