desertdwlr, you’re joking, right? Because BP was drilling there long before Obama got into office. And since Halliburton, a US firm and one intimatley connected with former VP Dick Cheney, was also involved in the construction of that rig (as well as another rig in Australia that had a similar spill).
There are no purely US corporations anymore, certainly not in the oil business.
I gave up driving , moved to the city, and use mass transit.. If you want to complain, crush your gas guzzler into a recyclable block, and pump up your bicycle tires. Oh, you live far away in the suburbs. What’s the matter liberals, don’t like the “kind” of people in the city? Hmmm?
HQ can’t see it (yet) - Hurricane Season “starts” June 1st. When the winds start pushing things around is when shore lines will get messy. But we already know hq is ‘goofy’ by his avi-Tar (& why’s it pointing to his buttocks?).
Much of the flaura and fauna in and around the gulf are going to die. I’m not blaming the oil industry for the spill, but it definitely *is* a horror. I just hope that someone or some company is able to get something going out there that will stop or at least slow this disaster.
Well Lewreader in fact I do live in the city and I AM those “kind” of people. Most liberals live in urban areas. How many libs do you think live in Sarah Palin’s real ‘merica?

Perhaps Sarah Palin made an unfortunate choice in her words, I’am sure she won’t make anymore slip ups
