Bug Blog by Cuco Rocha Oscar Shocker! There's a glaring lack of minorities nominated in the 2011 Oscar race. Oh, wait... My bad. There IS the one in the title of "Black Swan."
That’s why they’re called minorities. There’s fewer of them than the majority so they’re not often represented in small groups like the Oscar nominees. Also, it’s just the Oscars so who cares?

Do we count the Jewish people as minorities or did that go out in the 60s after they funded the Civil Rights Movement?
