Teachers used to take up artistic pursuits in the summer, like painting houses.

As a teacher I worked summer school and curriculum creation projects during that “time off”.

My understanding is that some teachers, don’t know if it is all, are given the option of spreading their salary out over 12 months instead of just the school year. I am not a teacher so I don’t know if this is true, or if true, it would apply to all teachers or just some districts.

This is all to counteract the lies being spread over on Fox News about teachers. If it wasn’t for the fact that people believe that bleeep it would be hilarious. Teachers the new fat cats rolling in cash.

^Yep except it’s twice a year. And Then! Then! they secretly wear a device to the classroom that invades the kids brains with communist propaganda and lies about evolution and global warming!

If we don’t stop them now every kid will be auto-induced to turn their parents over to a top secret government godless internment camp where they will be enslaved and forced to deny the existence of God and Jesus.

This is really excellent. It perfectly shows what we all should know–that teachers are (if anything) under payed.
