In Mexico that would be a real scandal and everybody would be tearing their clothes off outraged. We love our pyramids, but it happened in Belize, an English speaking country liked to British Commonwealth, they’re mostly African descendants and white Anglo-Saxon people, but I don’t know how many Mayan descendants still live there. So they are not as attached to their ancient culture as are Latin American countries of that region with strong blood ties to that ancient cultures.

That is terrible. Historical sites have survived so long only to be made into rubble! that is outrageous!I didn’t know that about Belize.
