    Here we go again-every comic has a pop up ad that is in your face. Got how I hate those ads and the sponsors who inflict them on me-never buy those products. Especially Hyundai cars.

    not only was he not mexican, but a combat veteran, being treated like a lot of our veterans. how is the VA cleanup coming along?

    Well, I’m sure the LA Galaxy were relieved to hear it wasn’t their Omar Gonzalez. (And they’re both from Texas!) Though being able to penetrate all the way to the East Room does show he has promise as a striker.

    In this case, as is often the case in La Cucaracha, “Mexican” is an ethnic designation, not a national one. Calling oneself “Mexican” is very common for folks of Mexican descent in the US. Just like various Asian Americans calling themselves Korean, or Chinese, or Vietnamese.
