As I have said many times, Hollywood is profit driven. If a star brings in the big bucks or a story line does, you will see said star in that role till Hollywood has milked it dry. TV is becoming more diversified both locally and in shows. Down here in the Tampa channels I think Caucasian’s on the news crews are about 40%. Again it is profit driven, as the public choice dictates who they hire. To whine and cry about percentages in Hollywood movies is a total waste of time. All the public has to do is patronize movies with people of their own ethnicity, Hollywood will listen to the dollars.

Lalo, the movie industry and actors are almost totally liberal democrats. Are you saying that liberal Democrats are racist? If so does that include you?

Depends what you mean by “Hollywood”. If you mean the nebulous buzzword for the movie and television industry, you may be right. If you mean the place, you are wrong. Look at TV news in LA and you will see diversity. So what’s the point here? It’s the viewership that determines the ethnic makeup.
