Both sides have become extremists. That is the reason our government has a hard time functioning. Moderate Democrats and Moderate Republicans are nearly extinct in this country. That fact is one of the reasons the establishment Republicans hate Trump, he is the most moderate one around. His outrages statements are just window dressing.

That’s all right. Republicans still have the Confederate Constitution. That’s where you will find several of their pet causes, including explicit mention of God, the line-item veto, and a prohibition on the central government funding infrastructure. Well, slavery, too, of course.
