Give it a rest, and check your history books. Bush’s appointments have taken on average longer than Obama’s have. Check the history.

Why would you vote for people who want to dismantle our government?
Because there are those who, either rationally or irrationally, really don’t like government. Or at least don’t think they do. Or they buy into Republican lies that t’s the Democrats who are coming for your Social Security. That sort of thing.

The state rule Libertarians would love it. Each state a country, etc.
And these folks usually aren’t true Libertarians. They’re more the sort of states-rights folks who ended up starting that little family tiff we had back in the mid-1800s. And they seem to have an inordinate interest in controlling other people’s bodies and bedrooms, based on what they’re up to in the state legislatures.
