As of 2017, Sprint bailed out the 70 remaining company stores and share space with them, which, if you had been in one in the last ten years you wouldn’t notice the difference.
Radio Shack went bankrupt a few years ago. They’re not around anymore. Originally a Boston-based chain, Fort Worth’s Tandy Corporation bought them out, ran them for several more years, and then they went bankrupt. A recognizable name, though…however, TV has taken the place of radio for almost everybody.
