Election day always reminds me of Santa Barbara. Election day made me hungry because there were signs all over town near polling places that read “100 pies”. Of course, I knew it was the Spanish language version of the admonition against electioneering near the polls, but, still, “100 pies” caught the eye more than “100 feet”. :)
